A Visit to Remember
Inspired by the surrounding landscape, Die Eike Tulbagh - Private Camping was designed to make your visit a unique, comfortable and fun experience.

Die Eike Farm is situated 9km outside the charming town of Tulbagh just 90 minutes drive from Cape Town. We have two camp sites that are on opposite sites of our farm. Each camp is booked by only one group at the time which makes it the perfect getaway for family and friends wanting to enjoy the great outdoors. – no other campers! Just your group exclusively!

DIE BOS KAMP
NEXT TO THE KLEIN BERG RIVER
This campsite is situated in an old forest part of the farm next to the Klein Berg River.
We can easily accommodate up to 20 people and the camp has 3 electricity and water points.

ABLUTION
one shower, one toilet and scullery station with wood fired warm water system.
FIRE PIT
Large firepit in the middle of the camp. Ideal for those group braais.
PET - FRIENDLY
Your four legged friends will enjoy the large camp ground.
ACTIVITIES
Go for walks or bike rides along the river and in the fruit orchards. Kids can play in the sand pit, plunge in the river and swing from our old oak trees.
VEHICLE ACCESS
The camp is easily accessible by normal cars and road caravans.
THINGS TO NOTE
Please note that we are a working farm. Sometimes there will be tractors passing next to the camp site and in season the workers will be harvesting the orchards nearby.
This is a nature camp. We have regular sightings of otters, porcupine and deer as well as the occasional snakes and scorpions.
Fires are only allowed in the dedicated fire pit! Please bring along wood for both the braai area and the 'donkey' that is used to make hot water.
The Klein Berg river does not have water all year round. During summer month there is little to no water in the river. Bring a blow up splash pool to keep the kids entertained.
The 3 electricity points at the camp are not suitable for appliances like kettles, hair dryers and caravan air-conditioning etc. Fridges work fine!
Rates:
R1600 per night for up to 4 guests. Additional people are charged at R200 per night extra.

DIE FYNBOSÂ KAMP
OVERLOOKING THE TULBAGHVALLEY
This campsite is situated in the fynbos part of our farm, close to the landing strip. The site doesn't have electricity. The ablution facilities include a toilet and shower (with a view!) The shower is powered by 'donkey'.
Because of its smaller size we can only allow two vehicles (maximum 6 people) per booking.

ABLUTION
The camp has a toilet and hot water shower as well as a sink. There is also a water tap close to the camp area.
FIRE PIT
Medium size braai area is available. Camping in the middle of highly flammable fynbos comes with high risks. No bonfires please!
NO PETS
NO PETS ALLOWED AT THIS SITE.
ACTIVITIES
Go for walks or bike rides in the fruit orchards and enjoy the stunning views this site offers!
VEHICLE ACCESS
High clearance vehicles only! No need for 4x4.
